vs 17/13/2.4 over 1800 and just stacked him last hand...bad fold? Is this 'bad' or just avoiding possible variance? Don't want to 'winners tilt', but I just see this as a 50/50 hand and thought, meh, find a better spot. Thoughts?

Definitely. No point 4-betting a TAG that is 3-betting an UTG raise. I mean, sure he could be furious from the last hand, but you can wait for a better spot. Even if he has T9s, UTG could have AA and you're almost dead. I like it.
