So I was thinking that you don't typically semibluff calling stations because they will call when you hit and you have little fold equity to them, but what if you have a monster draw but only 7 high? (dont have specific hand example)

say you have 7d6d and the flop is 5d 8d kc (open ended straight flush draw)and your PF raiser, calling station who limped in MP calls. Wouldn't you do normal c-bet here, when he calls and turn bricks, still fire out a decent (maybe half pot sized) bet? That seems you can likely stack him when it hits, whereas he might fold his TPNK in a smaller pot.?

What stakes are we talking about?

You're talking about building a pot with a big equity edge. Semi-bluffing is when there is a decent chance your opponent will fold. Since it's very unlikely he will fold, semi-bluffing just doesn't exist in this spot. To bet the turn, you want to think about how often he will call the river.

PS, these kinds of threads get locked.

You could call semibluffing semivaluebetting as well, as there is some value in your hand as opposed to straight out bluffing where you rely totally on fold equity. Against calling stations you generally have good implied odds [they stack off when you hit easily] which means its fine to build up a pot. On the other hand, Pushing big draws against calling stations is not good (not horrid either) because you're generally neutral EV, and need fold equity for it to be +EV. There's also no implied odds when you push, obviously. Then of course if they are that bad your 7 high could win lol.

Monster draws on the flop usually give you so much equity in the hand that they're really value bets rather than semibluffs.

In your SF draw example, you have more than 50% equity in the hand on the flop even if you are currently beat, so it's a value bet not a bluff. On the turn your edge is no longer >50%, so this is indeed a semibluff. The nice thing about a half pot bet in that spot is that you're giving yourself 3:1 odds if he calls, which is a nice overlay to what you need to continue the hand profitably. You also have some small amount of FE and more importantly, you get to control the pot size.

I think a semibluff with a draw this strong is mandatory against almost all players. On the other hand if you have something like overcards + gutshot on the turn, you are spewing by betting into this type of player because you will hit so infrequently.

Like all things in poker, it depends.
