Villian is a decent 23/12/4.4 after 130 hands, i think villians range includes 99-TT maybe JJ, QK (these most likely), then occasionally 9T, JT and air...im thinkin i shouldve pushed the flop??

Pushing flop is best, but if you're gonna call at least shove the turn.

Not sure if a straightforward TAG coldcalls KQ oop, and he will probably 3bet TT and JJ, 99, 9Ts and JTs are definitely likely

you have the dummy end of the straight, hit eject

i'd play it more agressive on the flop and turn. for all the times he has KQ/Q8, he also has a set/two pair. so if u got coolered, i wouldn't sweat it.

I dont get this statement?...considering the turn and river ..there are loads of hands that play it this way that hero beats notwithstanding the "tag" read.

JJ/TT/99/JT ..... and when exactly should he have bailed on this flopped str8? the flop?, the turn? the river?

Push flop: you lose to QK but you beat a big part of his range that he's calling a push with--sets, two pairs. I say he'll call the push with these hands because, if hes a decent TAG, he can easily put you on a big draw as opposed to a made hand.

I disagree, flop is dry and pot is small. You don't want to force villain into making a good gold.
I shove on turn personally.

Sucks if he has KQ, but you make tons over 2P, Sets, etc.

This is really, really weak tight. Villain does this w/ top 2, Pair+draw, set.
