I fold turn to BB's reraise. (A lone Ad/Kd would probably call behind on turn, thankful to get good odds, ditto for sets)
As played, there's no way I call river.

I'm curious to see other responses though, as I may be missing something big.

One player is already all in. I don't think he would bluff in protected pot (unless he's dumb)

Tough spot.......... You only have one hand beating you on a 3 suited board (one hand being a higher flush) ...I "cheated" and read the other post, I am calling the turn too, 2 outs to the absolute nuts with a made flush? are you kidding me? this looks so much like 33/44/55 (even a str8 here) with such a huge overbet on river... if he has a flush is he really pushing here?... the fact that you didnt push the turn, amybe thinks you didnt get there yet.

I really think this is a call and would expect to see 33/44/55 or even KK ....... If he has a higher flush *shrugs*

True, but the all-in was sooooo short to begin with, do we take this into consideration?

Raise turn, 4th diamond kills you really bad. I would never fold here.

Yeah I would raise the turn up. As played call the river getting decent odds, you will see worse hands here often enough to make this a +EV play.

Results in white below:
BB has Jd Ad (flush, ace high).
MP has 2d Kd (flush, king high).
Hero has 8d 6d (flush, eight high).
Outcome: BB wins $121.35.

let me introduce you to the dersonec theorem (first time it's been released):

no one leads the river for pot or more on a flush board without the flush

corollary: multiway, no one does so without the nut flush

/images/graemlins/smirk.gif would you have introduced us to this theorem had Villian showed down with 33/44/55? though I take your point

just based on experience. sets, etc., will check/call or block

Yea, I guess your right hindsights a B**CH , lol

This was a mistake IMO, since I had no read, I think folding is correct here. He must be ueberdonk to shove into me like this without the nuts or close to the nuts. If I have a read that villain is cappable of doing this with a st8 its a call. IMO

Your hand is way underrepresented though. He could easily think he has you beat without the nuts, ala 67,A2. Plus the shove is less than a PSB.

This is True. Or make a reasonable blocking bet.
