Turn min-checkraise scared me. He migh have better trips or FH so I just called, I didn't want to go broke in small pot against a player like this.

Don't be so scared on the turn, villain sounds like an idiot and his range includes a lot of hands you're beating. I like to 3bet it ~7ish on the turn, makes the river easier to play.
