Of course I raise him on the flop. But turn and river is my question. Bet turn to protect against draws cause the 7 is a blank? River I raised him due to his very small bet hoping I'm up against a Q or worse twopair.

I like the turn check. IMO "protection" is just a tad overvalued around here.

If you are sure you are up against a flush draw of course protection is good but then it's not so much protection but rather value you are betting for. Often you are up against stuff like middle/bottom pair that will fold to a substantial turn bet. It's often better better to check the turn and call on the river what we would have had to invest for "protection" on the turn. This way we get lots of value from middle/bottom pair type hands regardless of the flush coming in or not, and lose the same if villians make a flush on the river.

As played I don't like the river raise. He will call/re-raise only if you are beat.

I think checking the turn with your weak kicker is fine. I don`t reraise river.
