Converting from fullring to 6max right now and I'm really frustrated with it ... started playing at Full Tilt and the play is so, so, so horrifically bad, but I can't beat it ... the all ins you see on the flop are just ridiculous and you're like, why the [censored] doesn't that happen to me? I see people play 160BB pots with high card Ace, 9 kicker ... so, what the heck am I doing wrong? Attached are my stats ... is there anything blatantly bad about them? Hardly any of the losses are from tilt ... couple sets over sets, a flopped straight over set, and a couple lost 80/20s ... this sample size is obviously incredibly small, and I don't want to whine, but I'm definitely in "can't win" mode right now ... anyone up for coaching?

3k hands is a very small sample size. you are probably running bad. your stats are winning stats unless you're horrible postflop.

I recommend playing 25NL 6max first (assuming you are coming from 50NL Full Ring) just to get used to the environment before you move up.
That said, I've heard people say 50 6max is a black hole of poker, the play just sucks. I'd recommend playing 25NL and taking stabs at 100NL when you can.

You may wanna try to tighten up. 22/15 isnt blatantly wrong, but being tight is always right and maybe a good start for you.

easy ... your aggression is teh suck

Your pf raise is not to my taste at all and just on general principles, Im guessing you set mine and call with too many speculative hand, which might be the bread and butter of a FR nit, but is not profitable in 6max, people enter on too light values and will not stack off.

If you want advice, tighten up UTG and UTG+1 and get a better vpip/pfr ratio.

Once that is working, feel free to go as lagtard as you wish.

Edit:
Ohh .... did I say your aggression is teh suck ???

Trush me on this one ! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Examine your big hands and see if you got the money in ahead. This is the key. If you are the victim of repetitive suckouts, just bite the bullet until you run better. If not, post hands in this forum and do what it takes to make the adjustment.
