I have been playing poker for quite sometime and just want advice on where i should start to improve my game, i have been really down this week, and its really gotten to my game the lower i go the harder it gets to play an A game i find. I think maybe i might need some improvements on the old game, i was playing 50c, but after losing half my roll this week im at 25 cent and wont go any lower ( im a 10nl snob and dont feel its worth it to grind that low )

anyways, without making fun of me. try and give me some sound advice. anything is appreciated.

as you can see i get slaughtered at any attempt at 50./1 limit and 50nl, although there isnt much hands to really base that on, prolly would need to see around 15k or so to really know but, any advice is good advice....

First, stop playing at .25/.5
There could be any number of reasons why you're losing there:
Variance over small sample size, different play styles, etc..
Looking at your PFR, I think you're playing with scared money, your PFR noticeably drops as you move up. (11.08, 8.03, 7.61, 7.64, 7.17). Ditto for PL (11.1 at .25 PL, 7.29 at .5 PL)

This goes to the second criticism, your PFR is too low. You are 23.4+/7.64. Get more aggressive preflop in position.

The main source of your downswing is obvious though. Stop taking stabs at .25/.5 until you have a large enough bankroll that you can play more aggressively. It's not a coincidence that your biggest losses are at .25/.5 and your lowest aggression is at .25/.5.

so what should i aim for stat wise, im at 23/76.4 ( at 50nl,) what is a good # to be at, and do you think im playing too many hands? cause i was wondering about that as well...

I'm not sure how "Saw Flop" compares to VP$IP (Voluntarily Put Money in Pot).

There's no perfect stat regarding how many hands you see and how many hands you raise, but you should be raising at least half your hands preflop. You're playing a good tight number of hands, but aren't raising them preflop enough.
Experiment a little at 25nl, not making big changes, but raising more hands in position. For example, if you would normally limp 7/images/graemlins/club.gif6/images/graemlins/club.gif on the button after a few people limp, raise it instead. Raise almost every PP preflop when you have position. Etc.

You're doing well at 25nl, so my only explanation for your downswing is that you aren't being as aggressive at 50nl. (Note: I am NOT advocating you hop back into 50nl and start playing more aggressively. Make sure it works at 25nl first.)

Your biggest leak is that you don't read the stickies. They would have lead you to this Thread:
