I recently went busto and decided to take a break and study the style that brian townsend teaches on cardrunners... Here are some before and after stats after I started playing again.

Seriously, anything less than 10k is too small. hell, 10k is too. Give it time bro...slow and steady. Good luck!

Started playing much tigher in SB and BB because I feel like they are big leaks. Also I try to 3bet more OOP, and Player tigher UTG. Basically I think that from the bottom to top position VPIP is supposed to go from smallest to biggest. Ive seen a lot of stats from online players with 15k hands after datamining and they have 20vpip in sb, 15 vpip in bb, and 20 vpip in seat 3. The vpip increases after seat 3 as it gets closer to the button.

seems like your cold calling an awful lot in both samples, BT usually suggests raising or folding

I think cold calling is situational. If a tight player whos running 10/5 or 15/10 raises under the gun and you have KQs/AJs/AQs/KJs/PP's 22-99 on the button, what are you gonna do, RAISE or FOLD? I usually reraise people with a wide range, and cold call tight players w/ decent holdings just to exercise pot control and use my positional advantage.

I fold everything except AQs and PPs. Every other hand has is so easily dominated, you have to hit a miracle flop to feel any sort of confidence. Especially from someone raising UTG with 10/5 (in which case I probably fold AQs too)

You're looking at positional stats over 4K hand samples lol. Try 4K hands for each position...

Yeah, I agree that the sample size is way too small - but for what it's worth, I've played with you a (little) bit and you seemed very CRish /images/graemlins/smile.gif
