The only one that is even close is the first hand, and even then I'm happy to get my chips in (and cursing the runner runners that put AK ahead).

It's just variance, set over set happens so rarely you shouldn't even bother (and end up outthinking yourself) until you're very deep.

Edit: Stack sizes seem off.

with the K outthere and BB raising the first one isNT even close either.

its 10 NL so folding sets is a big NONO. unless its obvious ur beat.

I pretty much never fold a set with 100bb on the flop unless it is obv flush/st8 im up agianst.

im assuming you lost these hands but hand 1 is fine I prob just push after first min raise ( your going to see AK alot more than KK here witch is prob what villian had but thats just bad luck)

Hand 2 I RR preflop and bet more on the turn (sorry villian had AQ)

In hand 1 does anyone think that being min raised like three times by villian makes this a fold? I mean 3 min raises equals the nuts but anyone who minraises 3 times might think AK IS the nuts.

hand 1: i'm more than happy to get it in here. he could have AA/AK (even though you didn't hold up against those 2 hands)

hand 2: open raise from the CO = wider range. so we are probably good. for that very reason,i strongly consider rr-ing him all in on the flop. (funny thing is, if this guy is 2p2er, he's lamenting the fact that you "donkbet" into him, so he may not be giving you much respect. but you are very likely to have the best hand here.) sucks that he flopped it.

also, i agree that the stack sizes seem off. in the second hand you should have had $6 left on the turn

insta call all of these. i really dont think folding sets at these stakes should be considered.

hand 1: just push after BB 4-bets you.. hes not going anywhere. i think you should raise more too.

hand 2: 3-bet flop to $6-8, pretty drawy board why give him a cheap turn card?

hand 3: played fine

Thanks for the fast responses.

Stack sizes at beginning and the betsizes seem right, just the potsizes are wrong in hand 1 and 3.

So I'll put it in next times and hope I'll have the higher set /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Do not mean to be trite here (I havent read the other responses) but I am pretty sure every one here will say Nope.

Getting coolered with oversets is a bitch, but if you flop a set you are supposed to lose or win big. There is no way you can fold these, pleeeeeassse.

Why go for them then? if you are gonna fold them on the flop to aggression.

When I hit a set, I EXPECT to win it, save for a 4str8/4 flush board

Tough break

Hand 1: Raise yourself preflop, open-limping is gross. Never ever fold on that flop. Your 3-bet is way too small, should be more like $4.50, and obv your 5-bet should be a shove.

Hand 2: Reraise PF. 3-bet the flop, that board is way too drawy to call.

Hand 3: With good relative position, I like a flop c/r. As played, definitely call the turn shove.

Pretty much never fold a set at 10 NL, unless the board is four flush or four to a straight, or you have like 55 on an A5AQQ board or something. Most of the time when you get it in you'll be looking at two pair / overpair / TPTK type hands.
