Over the past 5 months I have played 18k hands on .10/.20 with 1.9bb/100 win rate. In this last week or so within a couple thousand hands I have lost 100bb and cant not climb out. Win rate is now just above 1bb/100. I have a couple of winning sessions and then lose it all back in a losing session. Starting to question my strategies are sound.

Two questions. Is 18k hands a flash in the pan or is that a large enough sample with 1.9bbb/100 to show consistent play? If this slump continues, how long before I start thinking something is wrong with my play?

so you're winning 20 cents every 100 hands at 10NL?

When I played 10NL i had a 22bb/100

You definitely need to sort out you're strategy.

Check the stickyed posts at the top of the page for some help.

I made a mistake I meant this for limit holdem.

It certainly may be variance, I had 10k downswings. Post some videos if you can.

I slumped another 50 bb week after this. And then ground my way out of a 150 bb hole over 10,000 hands. Reading and participating in this forum has helped fine tune my game.

Just wanted to say thank you.

I'm glad the nl forum has helped your limit game.

Man, I dont know about limit but I certainly had 10BI downswings in NL. Partially its bad play and partailly its tilt, but mostly just bad beats. 10k breakeven lines are totally fine if you are learning or playing high variance poker.
