Pot Size: $11.80 ($0.55 Rake)

I had just sat down at the table so no real reads, although villain already seemed pretty loose passive after just a few hands.

What do people think about checking the turn? I decided not to bet because I didn't think there were all that many draws to worry about(would villain call preflop w 9J? not sure), so I was likely WA/WB. So does controlling the size of the pot sound like a reasonable plan?

Thoughts about just calling the river? I don't think I'm ahead of very many reasonable hands here. KJ and KT have pulled ahead. TJ is a possibility... although again I have no real reads at this point, so I'm not sure if villain would call the flop with middle pair. I'm also not sure if villain would have raised the flop with a K with a decent kicker.

the villian checking the turn seems fishy to me. check/call flop, check/call turn, lead river sounds like the line a 10 might take. bottom pair on the flop, oops hit the trips, now bet river to earn value.

i would probably make a crying call although you are most likely behind. AQ, any 10, and a slew of various other hands.

All you beat is KQ really, but given the (weak) line you took you have to call river.

I like a larger bet on the flop, especially at these stakes people will call if they are on a draw anyways. QJ seems quite possible to me.

He might be floating with a ten, or a slowplayed set though (88)

I would probably have played it the same way at these levels (maybe bet the turn though, you've got position
