I made a post yesterday in BBV about dropping 6 buy-ins in 500 hands, and a few people made fun of the way I played the hands I had posted. So I thought I'd post them again here, to get some strategic advice.

original thread w/ hands is here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showth...page=3&vc=1 (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=0&Number=10112694&an=0&page=3 &vc=1)

ty. when I tried to cut/paste, the suit symbols and color coding didn't come through, and I was too lazy to go through pokertracker, find all these HHs and re-convert them.

1) fine

2)reraise preflop, ur oop and the button has nothing in his stack. standard reraise and i wanna just get to showdown w button. As played, w no reads, i think im done w the hand after my flop raise is called. this pot is getting too big w just a weak overpair.

3) bet like 16 on the turn, then fold to the raise like the baluga theorem says.

4) tricky w out reads... i dont really have time to think about it too much but on the river i'm def checking calling a weakish bet, anythin close to pot and im done...

Absolutely no way should you fold a big overpair here getting 4-1. If you bet $16 or so (which you should) you'd be getting even bigger odds. Just felt it and pray he's got a smaller overpair or something retarded.

You definitely have a ton of leaks:

Hand 1: Your reraise is way too small. Make it at least $6, by raising to just $5 you price him in to call PPs for set value. Postflop is OK, though I would probably just shove the flop.

Hand 2: Usually reraise this PF against a button raise. As played, definitely don't shove the turn after MP cold-called your flop raise, he's never calling this shove with worse or folding better, unless you have a good read.

Hand 3: Reraise more PF. I like $5.50. Otherwise very standard. Definitely do not fold to the turn raise in a reraised pot.

Hand 4: Calling the river shove is awful. Don't really even see any value in betting this, I think you'll just end up getting flat called with AK a ton. Just c/f this river.

My fault i didnt see the stacks sizes and what it was to call. But if I'm getting less than 2 to 1 on the call w no reads Im mucking.

P.S. Baluga Theorem = 1 pair is no good against a turn raise.
