It looks like they changed the law in in Washington state.
What does it mean though?
Anyone able to understand this?

This was the only thing I was able to find that wasn't written in legal-ese.

this article says that it's no longer illegal (for recreational players). is that right? i thought the only thing that was on the table was to reduce it from a felony to a misdemenor.

Correct. If you play from home, it is no longer a violation of state law in Wshington to play online poker (or other forms of online gambling).

Nope, still illegal (http://www.pokerpages.com/poker-news/news/washington-state-posts-wrong-bills-passage--online-poker-still-illegal-29679.htm) (bill hasn't passed, reported vote-tally was actually for a different bill).
