Villian is 42/12/2.00
My goal on turn was to go into check/call-mode and see what the river brings.
What to do? Did I play this hand wrong at some point?

How would this play out if there were no A or J on flop?

I would probably make a continuation-bet at the same size. That if the flop is not very scary.
