I am sort of new this game and feel very unsure about this hand. Maybe I could have betted out on the Flop and see how he reacts, allthough I dont know what I would do if he just calls.
I dont really have any read on Villian.

i do not like check raise on the flop
lead out and see if you get raised.
you are very very beat here.

i think the cr on the flop is fine if you lead the turn. it was folded to him pf so there's a solid chance that he's trying to buy this pot. he could definitely just have a good ace, say AJ or a medium pocket pair.

No point in check raising. I might check call. You seem to be beat.

Easy way to solve this problem: Fold pre-flop from now on.

No seriously fold this pre-flop.

really, you're folding this from the blind when the action originally folded around to the raiser. he could be raising w/a lot of stuff here Ax suited, medium pp, etc. I prefer to lead the flop here, but i think he has a worse pair or a worse king much of the time.

Yep I really fold and I don't give it a second thought.

why? it's obviously the safer play, but his hand range is large here.

playing that hand OOP is begging for a hand like this to come up

I don't like flop C/R.

I check/call flop, but i'm a station ....

that's a fair statement, but this is a pretty good flop for KJs.

You're not going to be able to play the hand well OOP. You'll need to hit something to win and he'll take the pot down with no hand a lot of the time. Your reverse implied odds are terrible. Chance of winning a big pot = small. Just fold it and play a lot more hands as the pre-flop aggressor in position.

I don't understand why some are suggesting to fold this PF.

What are we calling (rasing) with then? Only pairs and AK/AQ? If we play this tight, it's profitable for button to raise every hand on the buttton...

What I'm reraising with depends on how much button raises. I'll raise pairs, AK, AQ, AJ, AT, occasionally weaker suited aces, KQ, suited connectors, suited 1 gappers, a lot of stuff. Of course I won't raise all of that against someone who had a pre-flop raise percentage of 4, but someone who has one of 17 and who attempts to steal the blinds 27% of the time sure I'll raise a lot of the stuff.

I will barely ever call though and if I do it's almost always with a low pair or a suited connector.

Don't call OOP with an easily dominated hand - this post shows why. If you think he is raising to steal the blinds then re-raise.

Obviously each situation is different but avoiding hands like this will make your life easier.

Thanks for the help so far. I hadnt really seen the PF play as the real problem of the hand.

i'm not saying you should call this everytime, (i don't think you should), but i feel that this is as good a time as any to look this guy up. lead the flop next time though.

I can see where Lego is coming from, but if you've seen this guy being aggro, I might rr this pf.

As played - on flop, just c/c. To those advocating leading, why lead instead of c/c?
