i would often raise pf, but checking is fine. the reason i raise pf with a very wide range here is to either a) win a larger pot in position (many players will c/f) or just win the pot outright here.

the flop is good. i like the full pot on this drawy flop.

the turn i think there can either be an argument for betting $2 or checking to induce a bluff.

both work imo. you can bet $2 to charge draws(and there are many on this board) and probably check behind on the river if he checks to you. or sometimes call a bet on the river.

or you can check behind the turn and hope to induce a river bluff (and call the river no matter what the card almost always). (unless the river is say, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif) then you can just fold if he leads.

so, do whatever you feel is best on this such opponent. vs. an unknown, i would probably bet.

Bet $2 on turn, hope for free showdown.

And this is where my main interest lies. I see the Q dies not scare you, I guess I was a little worried about losing, but should have been worried about value.

Yeah I ended up folding when he led the river, but wasnt sure if he put me on air and a failed flop steal, in which case my jack is good. Improving my play on marginal holdings such as these would greatly increase my profitability.

Yeah I should have lead because it gave me no read on the river bet. Thx for all the help
