I had this hand recently and I had a lot of trouble with it at the time.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter (http://www.pokerhand.org)

UTG ($51.95)
Hero ($95.90)
CO ($54.50)
Button ($62.70)
SB ($8.65)
BB ($56.25)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J/images/graemlins/club.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG raises to $2, Hero raises to $5, 4 folds, UTG calls $3.

Flop: ($10.75) 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $8, UTG raises to $46.95,

Hero ?????

it really looks like he has AA or KK here and didn't want to scare you away with a reraise on the flop. Then when the 2 hearts came down it just seems he is over betting to protect his hand as most microers draw against the odds. I'd lay this down.

any stats or reads? pf raise is a little small i say bump it up to 6.5, I think at 7.5 he doesnt have impiled odds to call for set vaule...
w/o reads i think this is a fold, he either has a flush draw or overpair and its only a coin flip

When playing this, it took me a very long time to think about it. I think if he had AA or KK he could have re popped me preflop, or the smooth call here and then push if the turn was a blank. So I really felt he was either on a draw or had a smaller PP. The only hand I was truely worried about was QQ.

I just had trouble with AA, KK and QQ and I just had trouble with that.

My read on the guy was that he was very agressive especially when he saw weakness. I looked at how he was probably looking at me seeing that the bet I made was just an attempt to take the pot - maybe a missed A-Q type hand.

What do you think?

Due to him not reraising preflop i'd put him on Q-Q

For me this is almost completely player dependent. I'd probably fold even given the info you have. In my experience 66-TT is very unlikely, A big heart draw is very likely, and JJ+ is pretty likely.

Need reads/stats/something.

Your PFRR is too small.

I thought about it until my timebank ran out, and eventually I put him more on a PP 66-TT or QQ, as well as a suited A with hearts.

With my read on the guy, I ended up calling him. He had A /images/graemlins/heart.gifK /images/graemlins/heart.gif, the turn and river came up blanks.

I would instafold this without reads - the only hands I think we beat are TT and big draws. Best case scenario is AhKh that villain had and even then its a coinflip. I hate JJ

I think we see overpairs to this board alot here I would say 99+ for most villains. a couple of overs and a flush draw make up a decent part of his range as well. Unless you have a read that villain wouldn't do this with a draw or a smaller pocket pair I'd say this is a call.
