I don't think so. even with an open ended straight draw, I don't think your ahead of his range here. stats indicate a fairly solid player, so what does he 3-bet here that your ahead of? This looks like 99-AA to me, which you a 2-to-1 dog, or a set, which your behind. your best case scenario I can see is him having something like AdKd/AdQd, where it's a coinflip. I'd call the turn bet since your getting a good price, and fold any turn where we don't improve.

Since when is 26/16 solid at uNL? Hes most likely a huge LAGtard.

Besides, this kinda play is only profitable if you have fold equity. To make this kinda play we dont need to be "ahead of his range", but have FE and PE.


HOWEVER.

You raising to 6 and him raising to 10.5 (!!) indicates that you have

a) Not the least bit of fold equity
b) nothing in your hand that comes even close to be ahead of his range

= fold.

I really hate his min raise, you're no good here. The problem is you're getting 1.85:1 if you put your last 17.50 in and get called. You need 35% equity to push (a little less because he might fold).

I'm not exactly sure what a 25/15 raises in MP, but I'm guessing it's all pocket pairs, 54s+, suited one gaps over about 86s, and most offsuit hands with both cards higher than T.

I don't think he plays draws like that on the flop, he would be more likely to push over your raise, so I think his hand has some showdown value currently.

Heres a very rough range I came up with and you have enough equity to call vs this range. It would be interesting to hear other people's thoughts on his range.

I think in this situation, I just call his small bet and see the turn then decide on a course of action based on what he does.
