Hi guys this is probably an automatic fold for most of you out there but villian had over 400BB and may have been overplayin a medium pair or 2 high cards. Would anyone make this call???

Cryptologic
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
6 players
Converter (http://www.neildewhurst.com/hand-converter)

Stack sizes:
UTG: $18.76
UTG+1: $55.70
Hero: $51.55
Button: $232.94
SB: $44.50
BB: $40.29

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

3-bet pf .... reads would help in this one as well.

Fold readless but watch villian, looks like he wants to throw his money away

This is probably a trivial statement but it becomes a call when you read him as having 22-QQ equally as often as AA/KK...assuming his range is only PPs and AK here.

Given the information provided, instafold for me.

3bet preflop.
As played Villains huge raise dosen't make sense, in any case I would fold it.

I might talk myself into a call, looks very much like a squeeze.
A read would help though.
Probably fold with the information given.

If you can handle the variance, call.

Please call here. I put Villian's rage at AT+ 22+. It's clearly +EV here with QQ.

I agree that if you can handle the swing call. He gonna really do this with KK or AA.... Smells like AQ or AK or JJ... Most likely the latter 2. At these stakes, I would talk myself into a call. For lets say 5k, I might fold, not for 50 bucks.

Why does no think people do this with AA or KK? There was a time when it was refered to here on this forum as "the move of honor." (open pushing with AA)

I occasionally see people do it and get called by all sorts of stuff... because no one ever has AA or KK here.

I find people do this with lesser cards when they're shortstacked. But I don't see people with full stacks+ doing it light that often.

I call here, probably looking at AK or JJ, I doubt villian has AA or KK here. Reads would help tho

Easy fold until you get a handle of what his range is.

If he has AA or KK, why wouldnt he want action? by putting both of you all in he will get no action unless one of you has a equally great hand. How many people out there would shove after 5xbb and a call with AA or KK being deepstack.
Logically your EV with QQ in this circumstance is +

Logically, why would anyone ever push any hand here?
We have no idea why villain pushes here, but I assure you there is not too much logic involved on villain's behalf. Best to be careful I think, though we could very well be ahead. We just dont know.

Matters how Villian has been playing really, and stats notes etc.

Random I might call
