This is such a blanket statement. Dependeing on your style and table this is fine to open with.

Especially here at NL10 when villains will call you down 3 streets with a bare jack regardless of what hits.
I play it the same both streets (if I open w/ it). Perhaps even a somewhat larger flop bet since you are ahead of a lot on the flop with you quazillion outs.

Thanks. I normally do fold this PF but was playing a laggier table than normal. Maybe I should have, but just curious if the post flop was alright. Thanks.

Preflop - Standard

Flop - Standard

Turn - Standard

River - What is your plan here?

If it blanks I'm done...

I think its pretty bad to continue with another. Would you fire again even if you miss? I never try enough to know how often that succeeds at this level.

Depending on what your trying to achieve in terms of learning poker, ie putting yourself in hard situations in order to improve your play postflop - maybe. Other reasons make me smile /images/graemlins/smile.gif If you think KTs generates profit in UTG 6handed or it has any metagame value in micros in the future, thats fine.

ps Postflop was all right.

People saying fold pf do you not realize that we have 2 Broadway cards AND that they're suited

See thats where I get mixed up. This feels like I should raise it (my gut instinct). I watch some of the videos in the sticky threads. Some people argue ... no only ATs+ and 22+ UTG.

I guess this is why I struggle with if I should raise or fold here PF. I think what I did was fine and I'm sticking with it for now. If some 20k or 50k hands I see that this is very unprofitable, maybe I will change gears?

I'll usually raise this UTG as well.

with c-bets, pairs, flops like these where you pick up draws (as long as you play them agg) I don't see how this would not be prof unless you run like ass.

and re playing it or not to start with:

I am a semi-nit 20/14 and I will open this on tables with setminers / c-betfolders 8 days a week. It has nothing to do with learning to play poker. ? wtf

UTG I generally fold this at 10NL. You should get in the habit of making pot sized bets on the flop. As for the turn, unless you've got a read indicating he folds to two barrels, I'd check behind.

I assume this is sarcasm.

To all those people saying "I dont fold KTs preflop" - sorry not everyone has such an adge as you do. And I am sure if the OP had the same edge as you claim to have, he would not be positing here.
