I figure he's on a missed draw a good bit, and the A is a scarecard if he was on a hand like KQ

If I'm villain I call with KQ and you beat every missed draw that would fold here

meh, after the turn action, i probably give up. i dont like betting here much. sure youll get folds from 7x, but a K is calling almost always.

Orange I think you missed what the turn card is

Perhaps the nut high was a poor place to bluff; I am, however, trying to incorporate bluffing, because I think there definitely are spots where it is +EV. I'm surprised you don't think Qx calls here, they almost always put me on AK, and seem to fold

Whether or not they'll fold their Queen is pretty opponent dependent. Obviously, calling stations probably will still look you up, but it's a general rule to not bluff calling stations anyway.

You didn't post reads/stats, and if you're planning to work bluffing into your game, I would do it against players who you have at least got some hands and observations on. (Again, against some players, bluffing is just bad.) But, semi-bluffing which is part of any aggressive strategy should be enough against average unknowns while you get to know them.

i did, river bluff is even worse than i first thought. i dont even see many hands that peeled the flop that isnt calling the river.
