Villian is a multitabling regular who knows me as a regular aswell. I was shortstacked cos i hadnt replenished at the time. Is this a standard fold?? I didnt think he had a J, put him on lower A or the flush obviously. But i thought he may b trying 2 push me off it by representing. Bad play???

I C/F the turn - you beat nothing.

forgot how short stacked you were, you would be pot commited after a block bet, Id check fold

Dunno why, but I bet $5.25 on flop.

Villain's turn bet looks sized to get your stack to me. And I think he bets $11 as a bluff/semi-bluff. And he checks behind with hands similar to heros.

So I c/f turn. I just couldn't be bothered with this kind of oop situation against a reg, and I doubt there is a bucketload of EV being lost here.

That said, it is very tempting to piss off half a stack because you are a bit grumpy about 2 ugly hands in a row. But I'd rather just save the, what, $18, reload and move on.

Preflop, i dont see a multitabling regular limp-calling UTG w a lower A, more than likely he has a PP or SC.
Postflop, if he hit a set of 4s, i think he reraises that flop with the straight and flush possibilities out there, so i am thinking prob a baby flush draw which he likes given the A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif is out there.
I def lead out on the turn as i have been the aggressor on the last 2 streets, and make him make the tough decision, rather than you.
I dont mind it as played if you had a bigger stack as his bet does look weak (albeit suspiciously weak), but as a shorty he is calling that all day.

"Preflop, i dont see a multitabling regular limp-calling UTG w a lower A"

I see it all the time, but no one will play a weak A like this so anything except c/f the turn is a mistake.
