Here a couple of hands where I spike two pair after checking in the BB. A general problem I have here is that I find it very hard to know what people are holding when button limps, SB completes, etc.

-----

Hand 1

Should I c/c a dry flop like this? What range do you put Button on after his turn raise? I shoved because I felt I was ahead, but didn't want to call and face a river scarecard OOP without much idea of button's holdings.

Hero ($30.55)
UTG ($47.85)
MP ($39.55)
CO ($24.20)
Button ($17.70)
SB ($21.45)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, 8/images/graemlins/club.gif.
2 folds, CO calls $0.25, Button calls $0.25, 1 fold, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0.85) 3/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
Hero bets $0.75, CO folds, Button calls $0.75.

Turn: ($2.35) 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
Hero bets $1.75, Button raises to $5.25, Hero raises to $29.55, Button calls $11.45 (All-In).

River: ($48.60) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $48.60

Hand 2

I'm not sure what to make of the two calls of my turn raise. I suppose it means the king helped them and they are not afraid of the ace, in which case I am screwed - I suspect my following river bet may be a mistake. Maybe I should just call turn and hope to surprise Ax at a cheap showdown? Hmmm...

1) Against an unknown that's standard for me if he had 333 or 444 I just label that as a cooler.

2) Nh, I bet more on the river.

1st hand seems fine to me with the added bonus of TOP 2
2nd hand, mmmmm Turn raise is fine, but I would check behind the river esp with two callers and OOP and with the limping, A6/A2 is a definite possibility

I don't like hand 1, it's a shame you can't call because he doesn't have much left. I think it's close between pushing or folding. Top 2 isn't very good in a limped pot and you will often be against a set. I normally check that turn to keep the pot small.

Hand 2 looks good the river bet is very thin though.
