Not much read, villain is average. Note he's kind of short.
No Limit Hold'em Ring Game (6 max) , 6 players
Blinds : $0.10/$0.25
Stacks:
UTG : $35.90
Hero : $36.45
CO : $24.40
Button : $18.35
SB : $64.05
BB : $15.65
Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is MP with J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif J/images/graemlins/heart.gif
UTG limps, Hero raises to $1.20, CO calls, Button calls, SB folds, BB raises to $3.25, UTG folds, Hero calls ($2.05), CO folds, Button folds.
Flop: T/images/graemlins/spade.gif 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif ($9.25, 2 players)
BB bets $5, Hero ???
Should I just fold preflop? What now?

Calling and folding to any more action is my standard line in spots like this

You made the decision preflop, if you call you have to go all the way on a board like this one : just push.

Making 1 bad decision doesn't mean you have to make another one

when i played 25nl a while back i woulda just shoved preflop.shorty at 25nl= a donk. so i just simplify tha situation and shove. u will get called by plenty of random trash to make this +EV (assuming u have a non nit image)

I have no idea how 25nl plays so just ignore my advice. I know at 50nl 3-bet nearly always AK,JJ+ unless villain is a tard

Fold preflop if you're even considering folding this. You don't have implied odds for a set against a shortstack.

It's very often AK or 99/TT (of course it could be better) The villain's stack determines the action though, IMO.

Yes we have plenty more Tards down at NL25. Honestly I have seen people 3bet with any pocket pair. Someone just threebet me last week with 55 preflop?!?!?!

I 3bet some opponents with all sorts of hands.
Does that make me a tard?

Well, I'm trying to make it at 100NL at the moment and am pretty sure 3betting 55 in a wide range of situations is probably the correct play. Perhaps you are saying that 3b 55 at 25NL is a different proposition to doing it higher up and is therefore a bad play, but TBH I'm not sure the games are so different as that.
After all, at 25NL, 22-AA, AT+, Broadway/Broadway, random crap raise you EP, you 3b 55, and it is now very likely that you are going to win this pot a large number if times, sometimes with a worse hand and (by definition) with a vulnerable/marginal one.
I think that may be the case at both 25NL and 100NL.
FWIW, I don't consider myself a strong enough player to 3b 55 regularly with confidence.

Yeah I guess I have to just fold preflop. His reraise into the whole field looks really strong, it's probably KK+ and I don't ahve odds.
I think if he had $10 or less I would want to get him all in, but at $15 it's not worth it.
