Wondering if I should be betting the turn. I kinda feel like I've been spewing a little by firing on the missed turn. But I've also just been missing a lot...

Checking the turn was the best play, you could have bet a little more pf but I think you played pretty well.

Thanks for all the input. I generally put 3-4 bb in from early position because I'd rather not bloat the pot to play oop with a hand that needs to improve.

That's bad. With AK more money in preflop = more profit

Mix it up by betting turn once in a while but only if he can fold something like 66.
