What better line could I have taken? villain's running at 13.5/11

Yeah 100%. I can't think of a single hand that we beat in villian's range that fires again on this turn. The only hand on that flop was TT that just boated on us. If you shove, he's getting really good odds to call and you're getting looked up almost always.

I'm pretty tempted to play this for just set value and fold to any flop bet

I agree that it turns into set value post flop vs a 13/11ish player, against a 22/18 I would possibly have AQ/88/TT/KQs in villains range enough for this to be ~~

I think you underestimate how tight everyone 3-bets at 50nl
