N00bs and rubes, NL is a game where we can be playing for stacks on any given hand. You should find within this thread various methods of getting your stack in the middle. Open to all, post your awesomeness here. Enjoy!

Requirements for posting hands in this thread:

1. Hero believes he played the hand well.
2. HERO MUST WIN AT LEAST 80 bb's.
3. Post only converted hands and remember to post results.
4. It's also very nice of you if you can take the results out of white, so we don't have to highlight to see them.
5. If it's not obvious why you played the hand the way you did, give a quick reasoning.

So, if you play a hand that qualifies over the weekend, post it here and share the joy. Weekend starts now and runs through Sunday night.

Let the stacking commence!

Serious beat. I haven't won a stack in the last 3k hands that hasn't been AIPF. I write physics tomorrow and then will inundate this thread with post exam stackage.

Well, villain here was not very good, first off. Therefore, when he 3-bet me, I assumed either air, AK, or JJ+. So I don't want to inflate the pot with QQ here, obviously.

On the flop, it's a standard CB, so a case could be made to either b/3b or c/r, but decided to let a card come off first.

On the turn, YACHTZEE! I'm hoping either AKh or AKc or an overpair at this point, or possibly it was air preflop, but he his a 6. If he doesn't have any of that, he could think I'm trying to steal, representing a 6. Against the specific villain, it made perfect sense. But in hindsight, I suppose either a crai or pushing the river if he checks behind could have been better, but it felt right at the time.

I just feel like it lets him fold his air and call with hands that you would stack elsewhere in the hand anyways. I'd check hoping to get another bet from JJ or AK or whatever. The only hand that you really lose action from by checking the turn is AKcc really. But hey, if moran wants to call with no pair no draw and you know it, shove away.

Like I said, sometimes you just make plays that just feel right, even though logic says make another play. You're 100% correct and while not trying to justify the play, just being honest. In the future, me thinks I play it the other way and just check the turn /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Oh I do. I just added a 5th table to my regimen, so I got a lil lax on reloading. I'm usually pretty vigilant on that. But always good advice. Thanks!

Villain was 63/8/0.5 after 140 hands ..

Every hand would be him limping .. me raising .. him calling .. him calling my c-bet ..

He took a buy-in from me 25mins before when he called my push on the turn with a naked flush draw.

This felt real nice.

Always nice when some preflop dingbat joins the table. Would've sucked if I didn't hit my flush, but I'll take it.

Weekend is almost over and I haven't stacked anyone in a week. Lesson in bet-sizing (and pre-flop 3betting) for Villian. When he made the turn bet I was sure he had an overpair. Just wasn't sure if it was higher or lower than mine.
