Misery loves company, it's been a pretty brutal week!

All of these hands are from live 2/5 games.

Hand1:
Preflop: J/images/graemlins/heart.gif T/images/graemlins/heart.gif
UTG raises to 20, MP calls, Hero calls on the Button, BB calls.

Flop(pot=82): J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif T /images/graemlins/spade.gif 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
UTG bets 75, MP folds, Hero raises to 200, BB folds, UTG is all in for 560 total, Hero Calls.

Turn(pot=1202): Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif
River(pot=1202): 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif

Results: Villian shows KK w/ a straight to the King


Hand 2:
Preflop: A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif A/images/graemlins/heart.gif
Hero(UTG) bets 25, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop(pot=130): 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif
SB bets 100, Hero raises all in for ~900, MP folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls all in for ~400.

hands 1-2 are standard but hand 3 made baby raptorchrist cry. how did the villain justify that play?

2 non club Aces, 2 non club Q's, 3 non club J's = 7 outs, plus the implied odds because you will obviously call all-in with a worse hand every time. Plus 10 clubs put a 4 flush out there, and if a four flush comes it means you always have a set, and from your perspective it means he always has a club to beat you with a runner-runner, so he can win the pot with a bluff any time a 4th club calls. So 10 outs give him the pot as is, and 7 give him that + your stack. EZ call.
