View Full Version : Beat: Bluffed away 1/4 of my BR on the river

Brag: I participated in the biggest pot in the history of the casino tonight. ($22000)
Beat: I bluffed $7000 on the river trying to represent a straight flush and got called by the ace-high flush. (We were playing 5-10-25 PLO). This might be my most idiotic move ever. At least maybe they will pay me off when I bet big on the river next time.

22k would not be close to the 'biggest pot played in the casino's history'.

Not even close for that game either...
I know 3 guys very well that play in the PLO game at Caesar's Indiana, and I know for a fact that 22K is nowhere near the biggest pot in that game.

I was the villain in this hand. The action in this hand was pretty ridiculous. The board had on it KcQcJc and I had Ac 9c in my hand so I was pretty confused to what the hell he was doing.

Yes it did.
Also, no, this was not at Caesars Indiana. FireLake Grand Casino in OK. Yes, the guy tanked for 2-3 minutes before calling. And finally:

So you were representing 6h7h exactly..? Thats the most retarded thing I ever heard. Much more credible if board is like 6h7h8h9h if you are trying to get Ah to fold.

Assuming villain has Ah, both 3h6h and 6h7h make a straight flush. On the board you propose one would need to hold either 4h5h or ThJh. Exactly two 2-card combinations in each case. How is it more credible?
