Simple question, personally I think any activity that can be done while eating pretzels and drinking insane amounts of beer should not be considered a sport.

What conclusion are you drawing from this? You just gave multiple definitions for the word sport. Poker fits some but not all of them.

The only logical conclusion is that poker fits some definitions of the word sport, but not all, therefore we need some more context for the poll to mean anything, but I have a feeling that is not the conclusion you drew.

if they add something like jumping ropes while playing poker, then MAYBE... juuuuuuuuuust maybe poker can be considered a sport. otherwise, just sitting all day won't cut it.
