Haven't received money from Stars to pay taxes and getting worried

Is there really anything I can do? I was just told even with an extension I still have to pay by the 17th. I've been waiting over 3 weeks for a wire from Stars, and still have to go to someone to do my taxes, am I basically screwed if I don't get it in time? (I know no one that will lend me that large sum of money)

Mail the return (or extension) to the mail box number for refunds. They open these envelopes only after processing the returns with checks. Should give you till April 27th before it hits your bank. The states and local guys are even worse, maybe May 15th. The mail box is after the zip code, for example 89012-0004. Good Luck

And how long have you known that taxes would be due in April?

Well sometimes its March and sometimes its May. And sometimes June if you're out of the country. And if you like it can be any month of the year, if you make the right elections. The key is the right YEAR. See your local CPA.
