Here's the scenario: I had been sitting at the table for about an hour and a half playing a fairly TAG game. Our villian had been sitting at the table for about 45 minutes and was running 25/9.7/3. We really don't have much of a history at the table until this hand goes down:

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.25 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

CO ($28.12)
Button ($30.67)
SB ($28.68)
Hero ($29.13)
UTG ($8.60)
MP ($20.37)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif7/images/graemlins/heart.gif

UTG folds. MP calls. CO folds. Button folds. SB folds.
Hero checks.

Flop: Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

Hero checks. MP bets $2. Hero raises to $6. MP re-raises to $14. Hero?

I guess it should be noted that our villain's reraise to $14 was instant. I had never seen villain overbet before, this is no doubt a weird spot. Any thoughts?

Its likely he has a (combo) draw or maybe he slowplayed his preflop monster. Sets other than J's are unlikely. I'm likely to push here to charge draws. Variance is your friend.

sets other than 7s are unlikely, the jacks probably raised preflop, and the queens certainly did...obviously he would have to have the case 7s to have a set, so that's unlikely as well, he probably has top pair or a draw.
