Hi, more hands in one post than normally. The reason is that I feel that my game is really off, and I'm at a low point of 10 buy in downswing, so I posted a lot of hands to maybe find out how much is bad luck and how much is bad play.

Fear not, these are not bad beat hands! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

This is a rare play. Should I stick to ABC 100% of the time?

I put him on a king here.

Flop looks like a set or two pair but I call and reevaluate. Villain shows weakness, so I readjust my guess to pair of kings and value bet.

In general, read the sticky on PFR'ing amounts. General rule is 3-4BB + 1BB for every limper. Yours seem to randomly vary. I find that PFR's in the 0.30's get called alot more often than I would like so I will open raise 0.40 (4BB) and if there is a limper I make it 3BB+1BB for every limper.

Hand 1: Raise PF. Lead flop with 3/4 PSB. Bet 2/3 PSB on turn.

Hand 2: 3/4 PSB on flop. Shove to a RR. That requires a read though. Most likely nothing is currently beating you unless they are loose and calling 5BB PFR's with A6s or something.

Hand 3: Don't slowplay. There is a FD out there. Lead flop and even the turn. C/f river to any large bet.

Hand 4: Here I would bet that someone called you PF with a K. But you have a good pair and a FD. I would lead flop with a CB and hope to take it down there. Check turn. If he checked river I would bet a decent amt and see what happens.

Hand 5: Pretty standard. Call or fold are both fine but he probably just got a boat.

Hand 6: Standard.

Hand 7: RR that flop raise. You don't want him catching another card. But as played, if you call the flop and he checks you have to bet the turn. He could have KQ. He could have KJ. Find out.

Hand 8: I'm RR'ing less PF. Pot was $0.70 and you made it $1.70 to go. Little too big for me. $1.25-1.4 would be plenty. Anyways, I'm also betting this flop after he checks unless I've seen him do alot of slow playing.

Hope it helps.
