His c-bet was so scary like and board was decent for my hand. However, is the flop raise too aggro?
Should I respect his re-raise on pre-flop and ―-pot c-bet?
I assume I should at least respect his (value)re-raise on the flop as I did?

Raise more pf, raise more on the flop, fold.

Preflop: If I am reraising this...it is to $3ish. After being reraised(especially mini reraised) I'm assuming AA/KK. Flop is an easy fold to any aggression.

Reraise PF to 3, not 2.

Fold the flop, he obv has a monster with that PF minraise and cbetting such a dry board.

he 3bet you pre-flop. What range do you put him on? Something like AA-TT, AKs, AQs seems appropriate. His 3bet was so small that you're right to call it.

Re-raising on the flop, even if its 9 high, is spew. You're getting 2:1 here, call and take a look at the turn. The only hands out of his range you might push off are AK and AQ.

This is a tough one. You donīt have enough reads on this guy to 3bet pf. I probably just call. When I call his min4bet Iīm calling strictly for set-value. I donīt think this guy know where the fold button is so unless you plan on stacking off with 88 on most flops, 3betting pf or raising this flop is a really bad idea.

I agree AA or KK is his two most likely hands but it is not 100%, so your line ensures you to fold the best hand in a fairly large pot a good portion of the time.

Your raise on the flop is a losing play imo. you have a mid-range pocket pairs and got 3-bet pf on the flop, what do you think he has here? AK? /images/graemlins/smile.gif He is likely to have a better pair than you. You had the odds to call pf but on the flop I play it very safe.

I dont think a raise PF was needed in this situation Eights are not as strong as people lead them on to be. His 3-bet PF shows real strength and so he may have a high pair and so you are a big underdog after the flop and so your raise was not necesary.
