not certain on any street, i wanna protect against lone /images/graemlins/diamond.gifs But QJ/KJ/AJ are all in his range.

i don't understand why you would raise the flop and then not bet the turn? you say his range includes a J but it also includes overpairs with lone /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. I think you bet the turn and the evaluate if raised

I don't mind checking behind on the turn. I think pot control is important in these situation. Our hand certainly has showndown value but there is no need to paly a huge pot in this spot.

I like checking behind because it also gives villain a chance to bluff the river with his lone diamond or to try and value bet his AA-QQ.
