Bet more on the flop. That's a wet board and you have 2 other people in the pot with you.

After the heart drops on the turn, I prefer a check behind. Gives us a chance to draw to our nut flush for free and keeps the pot small.

As played, I'm folding this turn. I don't think there's much that we beat here after the flop min-raise and the turn push, and we aren't getting odds to draw to our flush.

what were you trying to accomplish w/this turn bet. if you aren't going to call a rr here just take the free card. the c/r and c/r to ai suggest we are beaten. check behind next time.

I had seen him show down bottom pair and middle pair previously playing it similar to this. I didn't think he had the flush yet so I was trying to get value. The range I put him on was 23, 45, A5, A2, A4, K5, a variety of flush draws 56, AK, KQ, 22, 33, 55, any overpair 66-TT.

If you check the turn and he fires half pot on a blank river do you call? What about pot?

(1) your betting looks so weak that people may be reacting to your weakness. If you bet $5 into a $12 pot, I may raise you with anything out of principle.
(2) Ask yourself why are you betting the turn? Before you bet you should ask yourself what you'll do if they raise.

As played, I have no idea. You've so misrepresented your hand strenght he could have anything here.

You can see now why this whole hand is messed up by betting the turn.

Your betsizing is awful.

Bet 3.5 on the flop (board is wet, 2 people, want to protect your hand), check behind on the turn and call down a small river bet if you don't hit the nut flush.
