If I'm betting flop, I'm potting it so that given villians stack size, you have an easy call later. Sometimes I check flop.

On this board and with our pot odds, I might actually look him up. I think this is a split a lot more than not since he needs the 8h or higher to win.

minus a read i think calling is pretty awful since I'm getting only slightly better than 1:1 on my money, calling for a split. Calling 1.7 to win 2.05, I better be sure this is a bluff like 90% of the time

This looks like a bluff. Only 4 cards in the deck that can beat you. Your check on the river is just an open invitation for him to push, and I bet he's thinking he's 90% sure you don't have one of those 4 high hearts. Im calling here more times than folding.

Actually it is calling 1.7 to win 5.8, so it has to be a bluff 23% of the time.

It should be 1.7 for 2.9, since you can never win more than 1/2 the pot.

When evaluating EV plays you should consider that if you do not call, you win 0. So you are calling 1.7 to win 5.8 dollars.

no, you're not, since you're SPLITTING at best, there's no possible way to ever ever ever win 5.8 here.
4.1 in the pot right now is divided by two, therefore 2.05. You also do NOT include the amount you're calling into the amount you win, and since whatever he is betting is not won by you either, your odds are scarcely better than 1:1 and if you're not sure he's bluffing here more often than not, then it's a fold.

It's not 1.7 for 5.8, it's not 1.7 for 2.9. It's 1.7 for 2.05 since that is the net gain if you call and win.

Ooops; archon is right then, because the pot you see is 5.8 with 1.7 to call.

Lol, I´m a donkey. So he needs to be bluffing >44%. Can I change my vote to fold?
