Villain is a 40/12/3 donkey

Should I just call here and let him bet if he has something or is gonna try to bluff me? Or just go ahead and raise and see if I can get his stack if he's got 9's or something like that.

I think a smooth call is in order, then perhaps a check-raise on the turn

I like this line.

Meh, given that he's shortstacked, I like shoving here better. Too many cards on the turn that will let him get away from a 99/88 type hand.

i'd try to get all the money in on the flop, i think with just about any mid pp to high pp he is going broke, except of course the case k which is very unlikely

I jam here. The turn might help him get away. Set the hook.

Villain is too short for stackadonk.
Shove flop.

I 3 bet it to 35 he insta folded.. figured with his over raise he might have actually had something.

I would call flop reraise and CRAI on turn.. let him set his own trap.

Even with his stack size, I'm a big fan of calling the flop and CRAI on the turn. If we 3-bet here, it's quite possible that we scare out hands that we want continuing. Allow him to keep the lead and let him stack off.

If he has the case K, shrug it off to variance and move on. Otherwise, even with his smallish stack, I let him hang himself.

I just call his reraise, and get it in on the next street. He just put in over 1/3rd of his stack, and your sacking off if he has the king, so might as well let him think his pp is good, or that he can push you off a hand. If he puts any more money in, he is committed anyways.
