villian was 58/12/5 over 30 hands... I really didn't know what to do here. My normal play would be folding the AK on the flop but against such a villian i wanted to call him down. His range is hudge with such numbers.. toughts? tnx for the replies.

The only reason I wouldn't get him all in the flop is if I thought he would fold to the reraise. I also bet the turn as played, but given you didnt, I would call the river bet.

Folding AK on the flop here as a standard play is very bad. As played I bet the turn and obviously call a shove.

Maybe i'm playing to tight with TPTK... Could u explain why folding AK with a reraise on such a board is a terrible play? don't think most guys reraise A worse kicker right?

i have to agree that checking the turn was the mistake in this hand.

Because he was just screwing around as evident by his turn check.. unless he was going for a double check raise which is unlikely. People have been doing this stuff alot to me lately on Axx or Kxx boards with crap like JQ.. T9.

yeah i have to agree on that... He turned over the runner runner flush @ the river after i called him.

Tnx for the replies. I'm going to play AK stronger against maniacs the next time
