Villian has just joined table with shortstack and is unknown. Good chance hes a fish so could be pushing with many hands.

You close the action which is good. He just sat down and is already pushing...which is good because it probably widens his range. Probably EV neutral to sl. EV+. I will usually call.

BTW, I'd rather play with a 30BB stack (20B better still) than an 78BB stack...reload

Omfg, call this in a heartbeat. I bet he has a worse A over 60% here.

LOL, yeah, if he just sat down with $16.61 it's probably all he has left. Easy call, his range has got to be pretty wide here.

I call a lot of the time in these spots. When shorties pull this they'll show up with Ax a lot and low - medium PP. If he had AA, KK, QQ, AK he generally wouldn't shove like this.
