Is there any need in raising, im only going to get called by a better hand (quads) or a split pot. I doubt someone will call a raise with a 5??
What if he moves in after my raise?? I have to call but its probably best to just call the river bet.
What you think??

If villain is a known station then it is an easy raise. I see your point that that it shouldn't be raised against someone like a 2+2er or someone like that.

Raise is super standard. Easy call if he shoves.

Any reads on villain. Against your average table monkey this is an easy shove on the end. Chance of quads is tiny. Chance he has slow played a 5 and pays you off definitely there.

someone calls a riase with a 5 everytime at 50NL. this is an easy raise. yes alot of the time u may split but the raise is still +EV

raise is fine at these levels. I would not be worried about villain having pocket 5's. As played I would expect to get called and split the pot.

easy raise... if he has a 5 he will put his bankroll on it as standard of 50nl isnt the greatest...

some people can't lay down a 5 here ... esp at 50 NL raise is good.

If villain is a big fish i might even go all in. No way i'm just calling that.

This is a perfect spot for a minraise. He'll never fold a 5 to it and if he's a spewtard he might shove the rest in as a bluff thinking you don't have an ace.

This is a terrible spot for a min-raise that is just letting a 5 off really easy. I would much prefer a push here to a smallish raise, push or PSB here is fine.

This isn't like letting a flush off lightly with a small bet against your boat. His hand is there clear as day, hero either has the ace or he doesn't. If you have a read that he's retarded enough to call a push with a 5 then fair enough, and sure enough there are some players who would do that. But against someone who has any clue whatsoever a smaller bet is the only way to win any more money.
