Oh wow. That changes everything, lol.

Well he could have a boat but his range is so much wider. I'm not sure you can fold here to be honest. He hasn't played it like he has a set/two pair so I wouldn't be afraid to get your money in here.

I think a call is the right move. Obviously you see a straight a lot here.

potodds on the river are 2:1, so even if he has the FH or the better flush 2 out of 3 times I break even. Can we assume he does not have these hands 2/3 of the time?

I make the turn bet a lot bigger. $7 or $7.5.
I call river all day. People will show you straights here a lot, although you hold one of the Ts. But I still think you can't lay this down. Villain could even have an overpair.

Your thread title indicates that you lost to a higher flush or a boat. But I think I can't lay this down on this limit.

make it $6 on the turn to get button all-in already.

SB waits till river pairs until he gets it all in = zomg he could have a boat.

The Ace /images/graemlins/club.gif isn't out = higher chance that someone has a nut flush here.

Tho we do have 2nd nut flush here - so folding isn't really an option. I call river but I'm not happy about it.

Villian did not play this like a set. With two players behind him on the flop, the standard donk line is to checkraise this flop.

He may have called down with J8 and boated, but this could easily be a move to force you out of the pot. If he checks this river, we're betting anyway, and both of us have a little over a PSB left.

The hands that worry me most are J8 and Ax/images/graemlins/club.gif, but after he checks the turn and we bet and get called by the shorty, I have to think he would checkraise, so I don't think the nut flush is likely.

He either has a boat or one of the many hands we beat. I call.
