Villain in this hand was a good tag, probably the most thinking opponenet on the table. I make a pretty standard raise for me preflop and try to take it down on the flop.
Before betting the turn what does villains hand look like? I think he would play a small-medium pair like this preflop along with higher suited connectors etc. When he flat calls on the flop it looks a lot like a weak overpair such as 77,88,99. So on the turn I try to represent a big pair, this is the first time I've 2 barrelled on this table.
Is my thinking sound here or is this spewage? also how often to you attempt moves like this at 50nl?
