Hm. You inflated the pot with your semi-bluff on the turn. Now you are getting 3:1 on the call. It's unlikely that villain has a 5 or 6. He might have a bigger pair than Js or a better kicker. Or he has a smaller pair. With a pair in his hand, it's a very strange line on the turn. Maybe he wanted to see if the flushdraw came. I think I call here.

FWIW: I just call the turn bet. People call too much and IME semi-bluffs with runner runner draws get little credit.

Yea I'd drop here. TP ok kicker isn't something I like calling half my stack on.

Pretty much an easy fold. Villain has a better jack here/OP a good percentage of the time.

I would call the turn alot. our draw is disguised, not too many worse calls a raise, don't really have to build the pot given stacks.

river is a fold i think.

Why did you raise the turn so much?

I call turn, you fold out no better hands and you get paid off with your flush draw on the river.

As played... I don't think you beat anything but a bluff.

Because I'm aggressive, I'm RR the flop hoping to end it right there. I don't want to get to the turn or river and find out I'm up against a set or KJ or something. I also agree with Genz about that big turn RR. You want to keep the pot small with your weakish kicker and paired board.
