I try and get it in on the turn, the way he just called the flop makes me think he doesn't have a set and if he does oh well make a note

actually not push to the minraise I mean 3bet, didnt take note of stack sizes

I play it the same. If you were beat, it's just a cooler.

I'm a losing player at 25NL so I'm trying to post every significant hand to analyze my decisions. Results are irrelevant.

It's a limped pot, he can most definitely have a set, he can also have 32. I like the way you played it. You have top two and he's only gonna call a 3-bet on the turn if you're beat most likely. He could have Ace-x of spades but I still play it the same.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to get across. You played it fine, don't worry about results.

I am definitely three betting this turn. I think a player with a set would want to push this flop extremely hard as there is a lot going on with both the flush and straight draw.

I think this guy was floating with one of the bottom two pairs and also turned aces up.

I am getting it all in. If he has a set, so be it. I will remember for next time.

perhaps he should in my experience 25NL players slowplay sets a lot, since these stakes are more passive in general playing hands like 2pair, sets, etc really fast often turns your hand face-up

Obv this does not mean that slowplaying is correct mostly, it just means that a thinking player can still be trapped into that logic of slowplay

I agree with that last statement. That's why if he did have a set I would take note of it.
