You have a set, you have no reads, you get all-in!

In the long run you will be losing value if you don't shove here. If you have a read on your opponent that he was a nit and hasn't made a bet in the past 10k hands then maybe you should just call here.

You play middle to low pocket pairs in order to flop a set right?

If the answer is "yes" and board isn't really really scary (i.e. straight or flush on board) all you should be doing is thinking about getting your money in or don't play this hand.

I hope you understand that because he had AA certainly does not make this the right play. given your response to orange's post i'm not sure that you do

You could muck if:

a) you misclick/timeout
b) are retarded
c) hate money

With set over set I am losing my stack every single time. You played for the set and can't worry about it.
As Harrington says in HOH2 - when some tells him he managed to fold a lower set then all he says is "Idiot".

agree with all the posters -- get your money in... bet the turn harder, shove the river...

bad spot if he had aces, but he might slowplay top 2 or whatever! Set over set is pretty rare and if you don't shove a set on such a dry board it's -EV imo...

is this actually the right hand history you posted? I mean are you really asking if you should fold the river with middle set here? Bet more on turn, get it in on the river. Results-oriented very much, are we?
