Hi all,
Both villians are failry new to each of these hands posted below...and they are fairly passive/tight. When the board pairs, get this uneasy feeling....do I check these or push like I did below?

You do whatever you can to get as much money in the pot as possible. If that means push then that is your answer.

Neither hand is the nuts but both should be played like it. Are you seriously considering anything else?

agree, you played it correctly I think... Bad luck if he has got a boat in the second hand, but you don't really get away from it imo. He could as well have AQ or something...

First Hand the same thing, you mustn't get away from it, as he quite probably has 10s and thinks he's good or something...

Well played imo

If you go broke, it was meant to be. Get the money in and be happy about it.

Why are you min raising? This is not limit.

Raise more. Like every time.

I would probably not go into a raising war (especially not min raising) once the board paired without reads.

So you're one of those guys who minraies their monsters, lol /images/graemlins/smile.gif

One of the reasons you should raise more is that then you put more of your money in the pot _before_ the board pairs and the guy sucks out on you...

In hand two I think your second raise should be putting the villain AI as he's short stacked and every minraise you make gives him much better odds to continue than (s)he deserves.

Hand 1 - Raise his first bet to 1.2 and his second bet - assuming 2.4 to 7.5 (which is effectively allin). His flop 3bet is 64, two pair, a set, or oesd+pair let him go broke vs the flopped nuts, the next card may scare him off or make his hand better than yours.

Hand 2 - Pot the flop and give him a chance to go broke with an underflush.

With only one limper I'm raising that A7s just because I don't want any junk trumping my A when it hits. And don't min-raise like everyone said. But neither of those "mistakes" lost you these hands. So if you lost these just chalk it up to more PokerStars follies.
