Villain is 70/3/1.5 over 30

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($10)
MP ($6.10)
CO ($27.90)
Hero ($9.75)
SB ($3)
BB ($13.05)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.4, SB calls $0.35, BB calls $0.30.

Flop: ($1.20) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $0.8, SB folds, BB calls $0.80.

I have to bet here to charge flush draws, right?

Turn: ($2.80) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Is a check right to keep the pot small or do I charge him again suspecting that he's on a draw and will call incorrectly?

River: ($2.80) 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

If I'm correct about him drawing I don't try anything fancy here?

Final Pot: $2.80

Thanks,

Stu

Brendan, why bet the pot? Wouldn't this just bloat the pot when he's drawing incorrectly with my OP bet size?

yes bet the pot....why in gods name would u have a problem with him drawing incorrectly oop? fwiw i pot flop, pot turn, check behind river, if he kept calling through all of that more power to him.

bet the turn and suck it up and fold if he check-raises.

i think you def need to bet the turn here, and make him really pay for a diamond. on flop id probably bet larger, like 1.00. similarly bet at least 4/5 of pot on turn, fold to a raise. check behind on river.

I think your playing fine here.

AQ isn't a big hand here. Betting is ev- because of the rake you pay to the site for the times you split the pot here and the times he slowplayes his flush. Your Queen kicker doesn't even matter anymore. Check on the turn behind is best i think.

On the river you don't have to bet for value because you only going to get called for a split or a better hand.
