all players aside from button were super loose. SB was loose aggro. if UTG called the SB's all in of 20~$ do i have +EV implied odds to call this, or only if i completed flop action?

i proably would have raised the first time around, and pushed the second. u have a lot of equity here.

You are in very good shape on this flop. I can't think of a reasonable range where you don't have at least 35% equity. It's gonna be a high variance play sure. You really have to raise the first time around because your equity drops significantly on a brick turn.

Brian that is a horrid equity analysis.

Your thoughtful input is of course most helpful here... what I put in was about a worst case scenario as OP seemed reluctant to play a strong combo draw aggressively on the flop as is more or less standard.

worst case scenario

No, that would be top set and the nut straight with gutshot SF.

Your range for BN seems very loose that would raise that flop so weak into a big field. Your ranges just seems poorly construed.

Why should that guy come over the top after 2 callers and 1 raiser with nothing but a flopped straight? He fears the flush clearly after those 2 callers... The raiser might have a set or whatever, but why should that guy raise with anything else than a straight, if not the nutstraight?

If that's the case you're in pretty bad shape, only the flush is good. So I think putting 20$ into 40$ sux with the flushdraw only... Maybe I would have pushed on the flop as well, then would have faced such tough heat and possible folded I guess, dunno really, tough spot if you would have raised /images/graemlins/smile.gif

you're right. it was a tough spot, and to be honest i'd have called if button was not in the hand and the huge stack to my right called.

results aside, both SB and button (whom pushed after i folded) had KQ for the nuts, but alas i would've hit my flush. results are fun.
